Lighthouse At-home held their annual Children’s Day last Saturday at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland. Lighthouse is very pleased with the result as an estimated 30,000 people attended the free entry event and enjoyed a day full of fun with the family.
Many photos were taken on the day which will be uploaded soon at their website http://www.lighthouseathome.co.nz.
The activities on offer for the children included many free attractions such as face painting, candy floss, popcorn, many performances, a bouncy castle and there was even a petting zoo where kids could have a cuddle with their favorite furry friends.
There were also ponies which witnessed many first riders, a Ferris-wheel, giant inflatable slides, a merry go round, lots of competitions, giveaways and many more attractions which ensured no one ran out of things to do!
CEO of Lighthouse At-home, Grace Xue expressed her appreciation for everyone who attended and was apart of Children’s Day in the following statement,
“We are very pleased with the turn out, and thankful for the support we have had from the community. Our vision was to put on a free entry event for family’s to enjoy and we feel we successfully completed this goal. The overwhelming positive feedback we have received warms my heart and we are delighted to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves.”
There were a variety of family relevant stalls, which had great specials, discounts and deals exclusive just for those who attended Children’s Day. With word of Children’s Day being held again in 2016 be sure to keep your eyes on their Facebook page ‘Lighthouse At Home’ for updates.
