Everyone joined in on the singing and dancing and played with the variety of instruments that were provided!

There were Tambourines, rattles, a little sand hammer, a little keyboard and more! It was a wonderful interactive experience for both the mothers and their children.

Where there is music, there is laughter. In the future, there will be an opportunity for more babies and families to join our musical family so we can grow together, interact together and learn together.

8th December Christmas Party

On 8th December, Lighthouse Preschool Family Assistance Center held a large Christmas party at Forrest Hill Elementary School auditorium. The day attracted over 800 parents their children, and was free for children and parents alike. Throughout the day we had BNZ volunteers pay a visit to help us out for our family fun activities!

The halls were well decked with beautifully coloured decorations. The Santa photo opportunity was a huge hit, kids rushed to the stage to get a photo with Father Christmas. Mums, dads, uncles, aunties and grandparents too, all enjoyed the cheerful music and chat while the children had an absolute ball, especially getting their face’s painted!

A large outdoor play area was very popular amongst the children as they admired in the Ferris wheel, bounced on the bouncy castle and played on the other rides. The lawn was filled with the laughter of children.

During the event, Lighthouse staff prepared a rich array of fruit and snacks while food companies provided a delicious lunch. The outdoor lawn area also had cotton candy maker offering lovely pink cotton candy for the kids. The event not only allowed children to play in a relaxed interactive environment but the parents too! Finally, the finale of the sweepstakes that brought the Christmas party to a climax was the raffle! The children were eager to help extract the lucky number on the stage and awarding the winner with their wonderful prize.
